men’s ministry

Iron Sharpening Iron.

The heart of our men’s ministries are our monthly men’s breakfasts.  On the second Saturday of each month, we get together to eat, pray, study, and either play or do a service project.  We know that men need other men to grow and be strong, so we hope to facilitate this “iron sharpening iron” environment for regular engagement and challenge.  We also meet twice a year for an in-depth Bible study for 6 weeks in the spring and 6 weeks in the fall.  Occasionally we also host men’s events for challenge, and for fun.
Our men are currently working through R. Kent Hughes’ book, “Disciplines of a Godly Man,” and examining what it means to walk faithfully in our calling as men.
